Tata Motors has opened bookings for Tata Punch EVs—the Acti.EV, which used to be called the Gen2 EV platform, is Tata’s new EV platform on which the Punch EV will be based. It’s expected to come with a range claim of up to 500 km. The paddle shifters let you use the multi-level regenerative brakes. A 7.2kW fast charger will work with the Punch EV. It’s likely to come with a 3.3kW wall box charger.
The Punch EV takes much from the Nexon EV, including its look, features, and variant names. It will also come with two different battery pack choices. It will come in five styles: Smart, Smart Plus, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered Plus. The long-range form, on the other hand, will only be available in the three highest-end variants. The car has a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, air cleaner, and ventilated front seats.
Tata Motors is expected to price the Punch EV between Rs.10-16 Lakhs.
