Skoda Enyaq Production Begins

Enyaq Production and Design

Built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, the Enyaq offers various battery sizes and powertrain configurations to suit a range of needs. The Enyaq Coupe boasts a range of up to 590 km (WLTP), while the standard model offers up to 580 km, making it well-suited for longer journeys. Powertrain options include rear-wheel drive in the Enyaq 60 and Enyaq 85, and an all-wheel-drive system with dual motors in the Enyaq 85x. Power outputs range from 204bhp to 286bhp, providing options for different driving preferences.

Sustainability and Features

Skoda remains committed to sustainability, with the Enyaq featuring eco-friendly interior materials and six Design Selections that focus on sustainable luxury. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with cutting-edge technology such as Remote Park Assist and Remote Trained Parking. Standard features like heated front seats, KESSY Advanced keyless entry, and 3-zone climate control further enhance the driving experience, prioritizing both comfort and convenience.

Production Flexibility

One of the standout features of the Mlada Boleslav facility is its ability to produce both internal combustion engine (ICE) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs) simultaneously. This flexibility allows Skoda to adapt quickly to changes in consumer demand. With a daily production capacity of up to 300 Enyaq family models, the plant plays a key role in the brand’s electrification strategy. It also manufactures the battery systems for these electric vehicles, reinforcing its central role within the broader Volkswagen Group.

Looking Ahead to E-Mobility

The production of the Enyaq signals Skoda’s continued commitment to e-mobility, with the vehicle’s sleek design, impressive range, and advanced features setting it apart in the EV market. Whether you choose the aerodynamic Enyaq Coupe or the all-wheel-drive Enyaq 85x, the Enyaq is a strong step forward into the future of electric driving.
