Tata Punch EV could be the next electric car from Tata Motors.Tata Punch has been selling in great numbers and has become one of the best selling compact SUVs in the country. However some complaint about not having diesel option in Punch. Well, Tata Motors is all set to introduce electric version this best selling SUV.

Based on the ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform, same platform on which Tata Altroz is based, Punch EV would be powered by Tata’s Ziptron powertrain. We expect the Punch EV to have 90 degree opening of doors – something which has become an unofficial trademark of Punch and Altroz.

As of now we are not sure whether Tata Motors would be launching Punch EV or Altroz EV first. However, industry experts speculate that Punch EV would be launched in January 2024. But we are yet to get official confirmation from the company. Tata Punch EV has been spotted several times testing on roads. Recently, Punch EV was spotted testing in May with design similar to that of its ICE counterpart.
