Maserati Quattroporte EV would be based on STLA Medium Architecture platform. The Quattroporte EV would an electric range in excess of 450 km. It would be offered with an AWD configuration.
According to reports, the Maserati would be launched in the later part of 2023. The deliveries are expected to commence in 2024. The design language would be similar to that of Granturismo and Grecale.With Quattroporte EV, Maserati would be challenging Porsche (Porsche Taycan) and Tesla (Model S Plaid). Details regarding its dimensions and battery capacity could be out soon.
Maserati CEO Davide Grasso said, ” We are making the choice of not doing this. As a luxury brand you want to choose what not to do and then you chose what to do. This is not where I am going to play. We are not for everybody. We are for those that are willing to pay a premium to have a unique performance and luxury experience.”
