Tata Tiago EV to be the official partner for IPL 2023

Tata Tiago EV which was launched in January 2023 has become the official partner of Indian Premier League 2023. With a platform like IPL Tata Motors would be leveraging the positioning of Tata Tiago EV as the most affordable EV car.

Tata Tiago EV had gathered 20,000 bookings in first month of its launch. With this partnership Tata Motors would be looking to spread awareness with respect to electric mobility which is something that Tata Motors executives always consider as major part of their vision. The 2023 Indian Premier league season is scheduled from March 31.

Vivek Srivatsa, Head, Marketing, Sales and Service Strategy, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “After five consecutive successful runs, we are back with the Tata IPL showcasing our newest EV offering, our premium electric hatch – the Tiago EV. With this exciting new product, we want to democratise EVs in India. In addition to some exciting engagement activities, we are looking forward to educating the masses on EVs at large and busting common myths through an integrated ad campaign.”

Tata Tiago EV is currently offered in two variants – Tata Tiago EV Medium Range and Tata Tiago EV Long Range. The Medium range variant has 19.2 kWH battery on offer while the long range variant offers 24 kWh battery.
