Volkswagen ID7 generated a lot of buzz because of its unveiling at the CES 2023. The sedan is expected to get luxurious interiors. Previously known at the ID Aero concept car, ID7 would be based on groups’ MEB platform – same platform on which ID4 is based. The car was camouflaged called Electroluminescent where electric current passes through the 40 layers of paint illuminating the whole car.
Volkswagen ID7 Details
The ID.7 with a wheelbase of 2969 mm has 4940 mm length, 1,859mm width and 1,529mm height. Thus, VW ID7 would be a D-segment offering by the Volkswagen. Details regarding its power train are not yet mentioned however we expect ID7 to get at least 77 kWh battery offering a range of at least 500 km in real world driving scenario.
Volkswagen ID7 Launch Date
Full reveal is expected to happen in second half of 2023. We could expect the ID7 to ply on roads from 2024.

No price announcement has been made by VW, but we expect the car to be priced at Rs.80 lakhs (Ex-showroom)
Volkswagen ID7 Interior
Along with technology, ID7 is also poised to get 15 inch infotainment system, heads up display and many such other features. Volkswagen also claims that it is making the interior of ID7 more sustainable by carefully choosing materials.
